Content Policy

1. What We Encourage

SCRLODX exists to showcase the genuine work of local businesses. We encourage content that:

• Authentically demonstrates your products, services, or work quality;
• Shows your team, workplace, or business in action;
• Highlights completed projects, customer outcomes, or special offers;
• Is filmed on a phone — real and genuine content outperforms polished advertising;
• Is relevant to your business category and local community.

2. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited and will be removed without notice:

2.1 Illegal Content

• Content that violates any Australian federal, state, or territory law;
• Content depicting or facilitating illegal activities;
• Content that violates the Australian Consumer Law, including misleading or deceptive conduct.

2.2 Harmful Content

• Content depicting violence, abuse, or serious harm to people or animals;
• Content promoting self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders;
• Hate speech targeting individuals or groups based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin;
• Content designed to intimidate, threaten, or harass any person.

2.3 Adult Content

• Sexually explicit or pornographic content;
• Nudity (except where medically or artistically relevant and clearly labelled);
• Content sexualising minors — this will be reported to authorities immediately.

2.4 Misleading Content

• False or misleading claims about your products or services;
• Before-and-after comparisons without adequate disclosure;
• Fake reviews, testimonials, or endorsements;
• Content impersonating another business or person.

2.5 Intellectual Property Violations

• Content that infringes third party copyright, trade marks, or other intellectual property rights;
• Music in videos without a licence (use royalty-free music only);
• Footage featuring identifiable individuals without their consent.

2.6 Spam and Manipulative Content

• Repetitive or low-quality content uploaded in bulk;
• Content designed solely to game the Platform's algorithm rather than genuinely represent your business;
• Content promoting competitor platforms.

3. Video Requirements

Videos uploaded to SCRLODX must meet the following technical requirements:

• Format: MP4, MOV, or WEBM;
• Maximum file size: 200MB;
• Maximum duration: 60 seconds for reels; 30 seconds for stories;
• Orientation: Portrait (9:16) preferred for reels;
• Minimum resolution: 720p.

Videos will be automatically watermarked with the SCRLODX logo and your business name.

4. Photo Requirements

Photos uploaded must meet these requirements:

• Format: JPG, PNG, or WEBP;
• Maximum file size: 10MB;
• Minimum resolution: 600x600 pixels.

5. Reporting Violations

If you believe content on the Platform violates this policy, use the report button on the relevant listing or reel, or contact us at hello@scrlodx.com. We review all reports within 3 business days.

We take reports of child exploitation material especially seriously and will report such content to the Australian Federal Police immediately.

6. Enforcement

Violations of this Content Policy may result in:

• Removal of the violating content;
• A warning to the account holder;
• Temporary suspension of upload privileges;
• Permanent account termination for serious or repeated violations.

We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a violation at our sole discretion. Appeals can be sent to hello@scrlodx.com.
